Due to the nature of concrete there is very little that can go wrong with it as long as it's properly cared for. For this reason Campania does not offer a warranty for their products. Our 15+ years of experience has shown that Campania's products are more than capable of withstanding the test of time. These products are designed to last well over 40 years, and will as long as proper care is provided for them.
Adding a water feature can bring calming vibes into an outdoor space, the Austin Fountain takes owning a fountain to another level. The balanced style gives it a Feng Shui feel, and the cast stone construction makes it durable in quality and easy to maintain. Create the landscape that has everyone talking.
NOTE: The patinas do not prevent the natural aging process. Any cast stone item with a patina finish will therefore weather naturally in an outdoor environment. Actual colors may vary from those depicted at the pictures. This fountain includes special ordering instructions. Please call us for more details.
What are the 5 individual pieces? I’m assuming the bowl, column base, basin and pump; not sure of the 5th piece.
It is the bowl, column, base, basin and small piece that sits in front of the pump to hide it from view.
Can you tell me the dimensions of the top bowl itself?
The bowl is 29.5"W x 18.5"D x 10.25"H.
does some water stay in the top when the fountain is not running? Does the cleaner hurt birds?
The water will drain out of the top when not running. The cleaner is safe for birds.
How long is the cord to plug it in? Does it come out from the back middle of the basin?
The cord is 16 ft. It comes out of the center of the bottom basin.
How many parts is the fountain? The overall unit is so heavy, I am wondering if that weight can be broken down into several components.
This fountain comes in 5 pieces. The bottom basin is the heaviest at 239 lbs.
How does one clean the bottom basin? Is there a plug to drain?
There is a compression stopper that the pump cord goes out, but this isn't the best way to drain water.
Most customers will use a wet/dry shopvac and suck the water out or you can use the pump to remove the water out of the basin. This is what we recommend.
