Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • How many pieces and how much does the heaviest piece weigh? Trying to determine if we can assemble? How sensitive to leveling is this fountain - do I need to trench 24 inches down with double A ? Sounds like you have to call for color sample - I saw the fountain locally but it’s RL finish and I would like something more in gray tones I think! Is your current order time about 2 weeks or how is it running?

The Curving Vessels fountain consists of two pieces.  The heaviest being the basin at 387 lbs. The ground area can be prepared by getting a 36" circle ready.  Remove the black dirt and get to a clay base.  Fill with crushed stone or gravel.  Compact the crushed stone every 2"-3" of lift.  Level and set fountain on the crushed stone or add a 36" round patio block and then the fountain. The current lead time is about 4 weeks as it is peak season (spring/summer)

  • Do I have to move inside or cover with something during the winter?

If you live in a location that has freezing temperatures, we recommend winterizing your fountain. This includes drying them out, making usre there is no moisture in them, and covering them. You don't want moisture to freeze in there because the freeze/thaw cycle could cause cracking.
